A loyal old man who served Ved’s father faithfully. A silent observer of village politics but when he speaks, even the powerful listen.
Dadi sa (Shanti Thakurain)
The matriarch of the Thakur. Religious, traditional and sharp-tongued. She believes in pride and lineage above all and though she doesn't like modern thinking that much but supports and trusts Ved with all heart.
Maaji ( Rajeshwari Thakur)
Ved’s mother. A quiet, devotional woman. She lost her voice the day her husband died — not physically but emotionally. She trusts Ved but fears society.
Chacha sa (Ratan Singh Thakur)
Ved’s uncle. A sly, manipulative man who always played second fiddle to Ved’s father and secretly resents his success. Now eyes Ved's position and respect.
Chachi sa (Sarla Devi Thakurain)
A loud, opinionated woman who thrives on gossip and social reputation. Always plotting with her husband and pitting her daughters-in-law against each other.
Badi Bahu (Suman)
The elder daughter-in-law of Chacha’s family. Simple, kind and endlessly insulted. Despite her silence, she notices everything. Always the first to help Ved behind the scenes.
Choti Bahu (Renu)
Pretty, outspoken and arrogant. Always jealous of Suman, blindly follows Chachi’s footsteps and treats her husband like a trophy.
Vikram Thakur
Elder son of Ratan Singh. He is greedy, power-hungry and always tries to imitate Ved but lacking his grace.
Rajat Thakur (younger cousin)
He is flirtatious, entitled and secretly bitter about Ved’s popularity. Always keeps a bad eye on women.
